From its humble beginning way back in 1928 with only ten cabs, the Luxor Cab Co. has gone from strength to strength. It is one of the oldest cab companies in San Francisco. When it began service taxis were dispatched through call boxes located on street corners.

Luxor is an owner operated cab company serving residents, tourists, and business professionals in the city of San Francisco and its surrounding areas.

The goal of the company is to provide safe and reliable service which is also economical at the same time.

Their drivers are attentive, reliable, punctual and well versed with San Francisco and its surrounding areas. “A Driver of the Month Award” is bestowed every month to encourage drivers to perform well.

Luxor's fleet features new model full size Ford Crown Victoria taxi cabs. They replace each cab every three years to assure quality performance and reliability to their customers.
Passengers with disabilities can avail of their "Paratransit Program". They have a fleet of 10 Ramp taxies to serve people confined to a wheel chair.
