Presidio Golf Course

Thrown open to the public in 1995, it gained fame as one of San Francisco's top golf courses. This 18- hole course plays 6,500 yards of great golf throughout.
It is one of the most picturesque locations in some of the best real estate in the country. Tall Eucaalyptus and magnificent Monterey Pine trees are located in this sylvan oasis. While playing you can feast your eyes on brightly coloured Victorians lining the hills of San Francisco.
Designed with tight fairways and strategically placed bunkers, this 18 hole “hilly” golf course offers a unique challenge for golfers of all abilities.
This course has undergone remarkable changes in the hands of designers like Robert Wood Johnstone, William McEwan and the British firm of Fowler & Simpson.
This golf course offers a practice course, complimentary clinics, a pro shop, rental equipment, and a cafe, as well as occasional tournaments.
If you have slogged it out in the course and feel ravenous you can dine at their new clubhouse. The Clubhouse is tucked into the oldest part of the Presidio Forest and offers a warm and pleasant atmosphere for daily lunch, weekend brunch, private banquets, and receptions.
The golf course is open to the public everyday from dawn to dusk.
