Dolphin club

Opened in 1877, this unique club is an ideal resort for water lovers. It is a nonprofit, public- access athletic organization enjoying a membership of about 900 women and men.

The Dolphin Club building is owned by the S.F Recreation and Parks Department. You can enjoy their facilities from Tuesday to Saturday, for a daily fee of just .50. There is another option for you. You can become a member of the Dolphin club and then you can forgo your daily fee.

Several interesting events and parties are also held here like the casual Friday potlucks to their annual Old- Timers' Dinner and Swimmer/Pilot Appreciation Dinner. They boast of boathouses for rowboats and kayaks, to glide in the shimmering crystal clear water. Men's and women's locker rooms with showers and saunas are added facilities.

It incorporates two upstairs lounge areas, ground- floor toilet and shower facilities, three inflatable motor craft to maintain safety during Club swims, weight room with free weights, pulleys, leg- press machines, exercise bikes and stairmasters.
The Club has an exterior ramp for handicap access.
Hours : Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm
Please deposit .50 in the box at the entrance and sign the log book. Ring doorbell for access.
