Tired of jaded bland food and want something different, then go straight to Maya and delve into spicy Mexican cuisine which will tickle your palate. Located in the Soma district, it is the brainchild of chef Richard Sandoval, who is its owner too!

Drawing inspiration from his native Acapulco, Sandoval created an authentic upscale Mexican restaurant to showcase a side of Mexican cuisine that is rarely seen north of the border.

Maya's flavors are praiseworthy including the mouthwatering langosta camarones with roasted corn purée, watercress salad, chile habanero and chive rouille,. These delicious and tangy dishes are made more exciting by a touch of world- class wines. The sweetness of the corn purée and spicy shrimp accentuates the wine's crispness, while tartness from the rouille, salad, and vinaigrette pronounces pear flavors and tropical notes. Its patrons regard pozole con botana quesadilla, sope, taquito de pollo, queso fresco as ideal for lunch. The staff is warm hearted, friendly and helpful, eager to cater your every whim. They go a long way in making your visit to Maya a memorable one.
