Aqua is one of San Francisco's best seafood restaurants. Aqua has been one of San Francisco's most acclaimed and popular landmark restaurants for over 11 years.

This four- star award winning restaurant serves delicate fish, medallions of ahi tuna topped with foie gras and a Pinot Noir sauce, all garnished on a potato cake. Its lobster casserole is still a big draw among the public.

The imaginative chef has replaced the cream sauce with broth and added porcini mushrooms, potatoes, pearl onions and lardons. The puff pastry crust rings the edge of the casserole so the center is left gaping. The waiter then adds parsley bearnaise tableside to it. The menu features a lengthy 29 pages wine list which makes interesting reading with names of famous wines and popular labels.

The American and French wine seem out of this world. Vintage wine from Spain, Italy, Australia and New Zealand are also available, though they pale in comparison to American and French wine.
