Nominated by Dancestar as one of the top five nightclubs, Ruby Skye promises optimum no holds bar enjoyment. It is located in the heart of downtown San Francisco just off Union Square and the famed Theatre District.
It is housed in a historical building of the 1890s, which played host to the famous “The Stage Door Theatre”. Pamela Pennington has transformed this Victorian playhouse into a high- tech nightclub, while retaining its old world charm. She harmoniously fuses the Art Nouveau architecture with plush modern furnishings. Ruby Skye offers over 15,000 square feet and 4 distinctively different and luxurious areas for entertaining that can be combined to accommodate up to 900 guests.
In the Jungle Room, a graceful and private lounge, you can sip cognac in a charming atmosphere, away from prying eyes.
The place quivers with life as night progresses in the dance club. Night birds sway and gyrate to pulsating music bringing the roof down. The main action is in the orchestra area of the theater, presided over by the DJ (on stage), his club kid friends (also on stage) and four costumed go- go dancers. It is an ideal location to host any event big or small like: wedding, reception, lunch party or a fashion show. Its executive chef Jeff Machado rustles up delicacies which will tantalize your taste buds.
