Located in the heart of SoMa's entertainment district, Holy Cow Nightclub has carved out a niche for itself in San Francisco's nightlife.
The moment you step in, you feel you are in a different world. As you cross the threshold you are startled by the figure of a large cow suspended over the doorway.
The music is a rage. Local DJs weave magic by mixing tunes from the 70s, 80s and 90s. There are three huge rooms each with an identity of its own. In the main room, oversized vintage advertisements surround booths, a dance floor and stylish bar. A side space offers a ski lodge- like chill area, with billiards and art- deco wall shapes that turn sci- fi under the glitter of back light. Concealed lounge boasting grand banquettes, art- filled walls and life- sized diorama contains a stunning portrait of Michelangelo's "David."
Bartenders are courteous and ready to meet all your whims. Crowded all the year round, come early if you do not want a long wait.
Admission will be granted only to persons 21 years of age and over, with a valid, government- issued photo I.D., which proves age, such as a state driver's license, or government- issued passport.
Hours : Thu- Sat, 9pm- 2am
Payment : American Express, Cash, MasterCard, Visa
