Bright Perception for the Spring
The University of San Francisco had set different programs for the Spring Semester, in creating a healthy student and faculty population. The Jesuit Catholic’s core values, intrapersonal development and collectively compelled learning atmosphere, became their ground for change. The program leaders organized a campus-community coalition which assesses acclaimed changes to city guidelines. They reinforce project enthusiasm and advocacy for policy diversification for the campus.
Spring Semester Programs
The University of San Francisco is launching a blood donation project on 14th of February 2008, in celebration of the 10th Annual National Donor’s Day. In 1998, the Saturn Corporation in partnership with United Auto workers, aided by the U.S Department of Health and Human Services marked the begging of blood-letting. The USF Student Health Clinic 101 also provides a seven-week Stop Smoking Clinic starting February 19. It is open for students, staff and faculty assistance. The project directors aim to lessen the percentage of cigarette-users and to educate the USF community about the negative effects of smoking. Another project is the “Community empowerment to Reduce High-Risk Drinking”. This is for the benefit of first-year and commuter student population of the university.
