Shoreline Amphitheatre

Shoreline Amphitheatre is today ranked as one of the most successful outdoor concert venues in the United States. It has received rave reviews from the press. The Pollstar Concert Industry Awards named Shoreline Amphitheatre as the Best Large Outdoor Amphitheatre in the United States. The Wall Street Journal called it "The Cadillac of Amphitheatres"; The San Jose Mercury News hailed it as "a major cultural blessing"; The San Francisco Chronicle said it is "the biggest and most beautiful tent in the world."

The theater came into being in 1986, under the guidance of Bill Graham Presents. It's a state- of- the- art facility with all the finesse, technical acumen and visual appeal that one craves.

Around 450,000 people patronized it annually. Superstar performances by the Dave Matthews Band, Radiohead, Coldplay, James Taylor, Alan Jackson, and Neil Young captivate the audience.

Spread over 60 acres in the heart of Silicon Valley - - 10 miles north of San Jose and 35 miles south of San Francisco - - Shoreline boasts one of the worlds largest tent structures. The design and layout of Shoreline is such that no matter where you sit, the stage is clearly visible. Two semi circular, tree lined paths meander through the park leading to the main bowl.
