San Francisco Performances

San Francisco Performances brings you the joy of living, through its soul stirring musical performances. Celebrating its silver jubilee, it is Bay area's paramount presenter of chamber music, vocal and instrumental recitals, jazz and contemporary dance.

The San Francisco Performances has gone from strength to strength. In its first season in 1980- 81, it could host a modest seven performances where as in its current season; it has given 200 brilliant performances featuring the world's most acclaimed artists captivating its audience.

The organization has flourished under Ruth Felt's artistic direction. It hosts artists who have won international fame as well as upcoming stars.

It presents contemporary art at its finest through 20th and 21st century compositions and premieres. International dance companies also give scintillating performances at its venues. It builds diversified audiences through education and outreach activities which strengthen the local performing arts community.
There are numerous ways to support the performing arts like: Annual Artists Fund, Membership, Inner Circle and Individual Sponsorships etc.
