Punch line comedy club

Lovers of comedy and its endearing characters should go to the Punch line comedy club. Since days of yore, comics have entertained generation after generations and we have learned to identify ourselves with its characters. For more than 25 years the nation's best comics have appeared at the San Francisco Punch Line, the city's longest running comedy club.

It has given birth to numerous stars. The Punch line has served as a cradle for artists with stars in their eyes. They have practiced and perfected their art on the stage. Stars such as Robin Williams, Ellen Degeneres, Rosie O'Donnell, Drew Carey, Chris Rock and Dana Carvey took their first steps on the Punch Line stage, entertaining thousands

It has been covered with laurels. The club's dedication has earned it the San Francisco Examiner and the San Francisco Chronicle's readers' choice award for the best comedy club.

Today it is the only place in San Francisco where you can enjoy a live performance of both subtle and rib tickling comedy from close quarters. It hosts nationally- acclaimed comic stars like Margaret Cho, Bobby Slayton, Dave Chappelle, Sue Murphy, Dave Attell, George Lopez, David Cross, and Greg Proops who will have you in splits.
