University of San Francisco is a premier Catholic university in the city of San Francisco, California. They are committed to be known as a leading university with a perspective of educating future leaders to lead a more just and humane society. This university was established as a higher learning institution in the year 1855 by three Italian Jesuits. Being a diverse school body, it consists of 8,500 students coming from 75 countries. The university got its popular nickname “the hilltop” because of its location in a major hill in San Francisco.
