U Street Restaurant and Lounge

This sophisticated restaurant is located in the Cow Hollow district of San Francisco. It features an exclusive and unique back cocktail lounge.
It has a vaulted glass roof which retracts, so that you sit under a heavenly canopy of blue star studded sky. You can witness down tempo ambient music being played at the lounge through the dinner hours. As the night progresses, things heat up. The revelers bring the roof down. The DJ picks up the tempo, and the retractable glass roof opens up to let in the mysteries of the night.
The lounge has a capacity to accommodate around 140 guests with ease. Whenever you want to have a blast on your birthday or simply party with your friends, U- Street is the place to go! They will help you decide the perfect time and options for that event. Chef Michael Schley, formerly of Plumpjack and the French Laundry, rustles up divine dishes. Combinations are decadent and stunning, such as tight, plump bites of hot and cold tuna- - warm, spiced cores wrapped in nori, crisp tempura, and cool hunks of sashimi. Nibblers (caviar, oysters and foie gras) are presented in precise, uniform rows.
