London Wine Bar

The London Wine Bar is America's first wine bar. It was established in 1974 and is located in the registered landmark Fugazi Building at 415, Sansome Street, in the San Francisco Financial District. This historic establishment is reminiscent of an old fashioned British pub with high- backed booths, out- of- fashion wallpaper and dark wood throughout.
The London Wine Bar provides heavenly wines with special emphasis on small California producers while routinely offering 40- 50 wines available by the glass.
Producers like Beaulieu Vineyards and Ravenswood are their special attractions. The wine list shines with Vintage classics like Bordeaux or Chilean red and wine collections from California, France and Australia.
The Wine Cellar is ideal for receptions of small or large groups up to 80 people. Their resident wine personnel will help select the wines to pair with the delicious fare you have ordered for your party.
Available at a bar in the cellar, 2 white wines, 2 red wines, beers and sodas. The food - mixed platters of pates, cheeses, vegetables & dip, fruit and bread & crackers and some of the hot favorites.
Hours : Mon- Fri 11:30am- 9:00pm
